01Introduction

ECONSTART (“ECONSTART,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) is a structural and governance advisory firm delivering AI-assisted advisory, automation design, and business systems work for organizations in the United States and internationally.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect at econstart.com, how we use it, and the rights you have over it. We keep this document short and readable on purpose — transparency is part of our brand.

By using our website or submitting an inquiry, you agree to the practices described here.

02Information We Collect

We collect only what we need to respond to you professionally and deliver our services.

Information you provide directly

  • Name — to address you properly.
  • Email address — to respond to inquiries and send engagement materials.
  • Phone number — optional, used only when you request a call.
  • Company information — organization name, role, revenue range, and context you share about your work.
  • Inquiry content — the challenges, goals, and priorities you submit through our forms.

Information collected automatically

  • Website data — pages viewed, referring source, approximate location, and device/browser type.
  • Usage analytics — aggregated signals about how our site is used, so we can improve it.
  • Cookies — small files used to maintain site functionality and measure performance (see Section 08).

03How We Use Information

  • Respond to inquiries — reply to your message, schedule calls, and propose written scope.
  • Deliver services — conduct engagements, prepare deliverables, and manage billing.
  • Improve our website — understand which content is useful and where visitors get stuck.
  • Marketing communications — send occasional updates, insights, or service announcements, only to recipients who expect them. You can unsubscribe at any time.
  • Security — detect abuse, prevent fraud, and protect our systems and clients.

04AI & Automation Disclosure

ECONSTART uses automation tools and AI systems to improve response times, streamline internal workflows, generate preliminary analysis, and shape recommendations delivered to clients. These tools help us work faster and more consistently — they never replace senior human review.

Information you share with us is processed under confidentiality. We do not use client data to train public AI models, and we do not expose identifiable client information to third-party AI systems without a clear business purpose and appropriate safeguards.

05Sharing of Information

We share information only when it is necessary to deliver our services or required by law. Specifically:

  • Service providers — vetted vendors that power our email, hosting, analytics, scheduling, CRM, and automation systems. They are bound by confidentiality and may only use data to perform work on our behalf.
  • Payment processors — secure third parties (such as Stripe) that handle billing. We never see or store full payment card numbers.
  • Legal obligations — when required by subpoena, court order, regulatory request, or to protect our legal rights.
  • Business transfers — if ECONSTART is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may transfer as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.

We never sell or rent your personal data. Ever.

06Data Security

We apply reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the information you share with us — including encrypted transmission (HTTPS/TLS), restricted internal access, and secure storage.

No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure. While we work hard to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

07International Users

ECONSTART is headquartered in the United States. If you access our website or engage our services from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States.

By using our site or submitting an inquiry, you consent to this transfer. We handle international data with the same standards regardless of origin.

08Cookies & Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies for three purposes:

  • Essential cookies — required for the site to function (for example, remembering form state).
  • Analytics cookies — help us understand aggregate traffic and improve the site.
  • Preference cookies — remember choices you make, such as dismissing a banner.

You can disable cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the site may not function as intended without them.

09Your Rights

You have meaningful control over your information. You may:

  • Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Update — ask us to correct any information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
  • Delete — request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal or contractual retention requirements.
  • Opt-out of marketing — unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link in any message, or by writing to us directly.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at info@econstart.com. We respond within a reasonable timeframe, typically under fifteen business days.

10Third-Party Services

To operate efficiently, we rely on a small set of trusted service providers. Depending on the feature you use, data may be processed by:

  • Google Analytics — website usage measurement.
  • Stripe — secure payment processing.
  • Calendly (or equivalent) — scheduling calls and consultations.
  • CRM & email platforms — managing inquiries, proposals, and client communications.
  • Automation & AI platforms — internal workflow, analysis, and delivery acceleration.

Each provider is governed by its own privacy policy. We select vendors with strong security postures and contractually limit how they may use your information.

11Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy — to respond to your inquiry, deliver services, meet legal or tax obligations, and resolve disputes.

When information is no longer needed, we delete it or anonymize it so it can no longer be linked to you.

12Children's Privacy

Our services are directed to organizations and working professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

13Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, our services, or applicable law. When we do, we will revise the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page.

Material changes will be announced on our website. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.

14Contact Information
