Terms of Use

The conditions under which we offer econstart.com and the ground rules for engaging ECONSTART for advisory work. Written plainly, designed to be fair.

Last Updated:  April 24, 2026

01Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using econstart.com (the “Site”) or submitting an inquiry, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

These Terms apply to casual visitors, prospective clients, and anyone interacting with ECONSTART (“ECONSTART,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) through our public channels.

02Use of the Site

You agree to use the Site lawfully and respectfully. Specifically, you will not:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system or data;
  • Interfere with, probe, or disrupt the Site's operation or security;
  • Use automated means to scrape, crawl, or harvest content without permission;
  • Submit false information, spam, or malicious content through our forms;
  • Use the Site in any way that violates applicable law.

We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access for anyone who misuses the Site.

03Nature of Our Services

ECONSTART provides strategic and structural advisory services. Our work is consultative in nature and does not constitute legal advice, tax advice, accounting advice, investment advice, or fiduciary service of any kind. For regulated guidance, you must engage a licensed professional in the relevant jurisdiction.

All engagements begin with a written scope of work at a fixed fee. Nothing on the Site — including pricing pages, service descriptions, case examples, or AI-assisted responses — constitutes a professional engagement or creates any obligation on our part until a written agreement is signed by both parties.

04No Guarantee of Results

We bring rigor, experience, and care to every engagement. We do not, however, guarantee specific outcomes — financial, operational, regulatory, or otherwise. Strategic work depends on many variables outside our control, including client execution, market conditions, and third-party decisions.

Any statistics, benchmarks, or case examples shown on the Site are illustrative of past work, not promises of future performance.

05AI-Assisted Work

ECONSTART uses AI systems and automation tools to accelerate research, analysis, and delivery. These tools support — but never replace — senior human review. Every deliverable that reaches your board or leadership is reviewed by a qualified advisor.

Conversations with our website assistant are AI-generated, informational, and do not constitute advice or a binding scope.

06Intellectual Property

All content on the Site — text, graphics, design, logos, frameworks, methodologies, and software — is the property of ECONSTART or its licensors, and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

You may view, share, and reference our public content with attribution. You may not copy, republish, modify, or commercially reuse Site content without written permission.

Deliverables produced under engagement agreements are licensed to the client for internal organizational use only, unless otherwise stated in writing.

07Engagements & Payment

  • Scope — Every engagement is confirmed in a written scope document before work begins.
  • Fees — Our fees are fixed per scope. Payment is due as described in the engagement agreement, typically in advance of delivery.
  • Processing — Payments are processed securely through Stripe. ECONSTART does not store full payment card information.
  • Refunds — Because our deliverables are bespoke and time-bound, fees are generally non-refundable once work has begun. Specific terms are set in each engagement letter.

08Third-Party Services & Links

The Site may link to or integrate third-party services (such as Stripe, analytics platforms, scheduling tools, and AI providers). These services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. ECONSTART is not responsible for the content, practices, or availability of third-party services.

09Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ECONSTART's total liability for any claim related to the Site or an engagement is limited to the fees actually paid for that specific engagement.

ECONSTART is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost opportunities, or business interruption — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

10Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold ECONSTART harmless from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from your misuse of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

11Privacy

Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect and handle information.

12Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Site will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Hillsborough County, Florida.

13Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, our operations, or applicable law. Updates take effect when posted, with the revised date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
